Peacebuilding from within.

Asset 13.png

There is a quiet revolution that begins with the body. By stepping into an original way of being that embraces our own potential, this revolution extends outwards to our community and the land.

Reclaim your true nature. Inhabit your innate aliveness and presence.

Nicola will co-create a collaborative and intentional brave space with you. She will support you to discover your own inner wisdom to heal from trauma and connect to your place of belonging. This a brave space because healing can be non-linear, uncomfortable and intimidating. Nicola will walk alongside you in this journey, supporting you to engage at the pace of trust with somatic experiences.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

Anaïs Nin

Moving together towards social and ecological wellness

In a culture that prioritizes busyness over embodiment, doing over being, and knowing over feeling, honouring ourselves can begin a transformation. With intention, we have the possibility to develop agency through standing in our choices in the present moment.

Whether you are ready to move beyond individual, intergenerational, or collective trauma, or you are supporting others, Nicola Mosley can be a part of your journey.

A wild ethics informs the many opportunities, which include counselling services, trauma sensitive yoga classes, intensive training opportunities, and land-based retreats.

Body and land based practitioner.

As a practitioner, Nicola offers land- and body-based practices grounded in clinical frameworks. In good standing with the Center for Trauma and Embodiment, Nicola receives ongoing supervision from the founder of the technique, David Emerson.

Nicola’s work acknowledges that the best way to change the world is to be the change. She offers accessible practices to ensure peacebuilding from within is available to all.

“My previous experiences with yoga practices have been extremely unsuccessful. I often cannot get through a session because of the discomfort I feel in my body and the mixed messages I receive from instructors. As a person with trauma, I appreciated the focus on choice during the first day of the training. By the second day, I felt comfortable enough to engage in the practice, although still not okay with closing my eyes. By the third day, I exercised my choices and felt a conversation in my body through feeling it. This got me out of my head for the practice.”
